Hammer mill is mainly suitable for crushing various soft and medium-hard ore, whose compression strength is not higher than 320MPa, such as coal, salt, chalk, gypsum, blocks, limestone, glasses, and phosphate, etc.

Hammer mill is made up of the frame, rotor, impact iron bar, grid bar and other components. When the hammer crusher works, spindles and rotor rotating which are drived by the motor and V-belt, and then centrifugal force producing by the hammer rotates materials spread out. It will be crushed by the high speed hammer when the big material put into crushing chamber. After those crushing stages, standard materials will be screened out by the down bar, the materials which are not standard will be left on the crushing chamber and re-crushed again. In order to avoid clogging, customers should pay attention to the humidity of the materials, the humidity of crushed material should below 10%-15%.

Mica Beneficiation process
According to the nature and the different types of mica material, there are different mica processing methods. Sheet mica according to the shape. Crushed mica adopts winnowing.

Mica beneficiation machine

Mica crusher
Jaw crusher is the most commonly used crusher machine for crushing mica. The capacity of small jaw crusher is 1t/h. While the large scale jaw crusher is 300-800 tons/h. Raymond mill is also the common mica mill used in mica beneficiation plant. In the mcia powder production line, the fineness ground by raymond mill can be upto 0.044mm. The capacity is 1-3 t/h.
 
The common mica powders are 6-10 mesh, 10-20 mesh, 20-40mesh, 40-60 mesh, 80mesh, 100mesh, 200mesh, 325mesh, 400mesh, 600mesh, 800mesh, 1000mesh, 1250mesh, 2500mesh.
