Established in 1928, Chongqing Yujiang Gear Factory is a well-known domestic manufacturer of gears and heavy-duty vehicle transmissions. In the 1980s, when the country introduced the Austrian Steyr 91 series heavy-duty vehicle technology, dental caries was one of the major transmission supporting companies. In 1985, Cavs introduced ZF's mechanical transmission manufacturing technology for the first time to produce heavy-duty transmissions. Since then, Minutes has been working with ZF.

Wang Hao said: “After ZF entered China, it always wanted to seek local production and plans to establish a transmission production base in the Asia-Pacific region in China.” Caries with ZF's technical cooperation is a good choice. For this reason, both ZF and CFA have shown a positive attitude, and the high-level visits between the two sides have continued. However, for more than 20 years, joint ventures between ZF and Cajac have been judged to be intermittent, ups and downs, and several close to complete, but none have been signed.

Where is the negotiating card? The explanation of the prosthesis is: "ZF requires holding, and cavities do not need to retain their R&D abilities and only make productions. They want to gain greater say and autonomy." This feeling of Wang Hao is related to the change of shareholders in recent years. In December 2002, the Hunan Torch at the time was a joint venture with the Minjiang Gear Factory to establish the "Lijiang Gear Transmission Co., Ltd." and Hunan Torch Holdings was 51%. The caries mentioned in the industry now refer to this joint venture company. The torch did not last long and it fell into crisis two years later. As a result, in June 2005, the Hunan Torch transferred the shares held by Chaifang to Shanghai Electric (Group) Corporation. At present, the controlling shareholder of Haofang is Shanghai Electric, and 49% of the shares are owned by the Chongqing Electrical and Mechanical Corporation under the Chongqing State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.

For more than 20 years, the two parties had negotiated several times on joint ventures and they have never been discussed. However, this time is different from the past. According to the insider of the tooth decay, the Chongqing municipal government has already agreed to ZF's request to clear the obstacles of the previous joint venture negotiations, so the chances of success of the joint venture are high.

In addition to the promotion of the Chongqing Municipal Government, Que itself has a strong demand for joint ventures and cooperation. In the passenger car transmission market, caries occupy 30% to 40% of the market share. Although it has a good performance in the passenger car market, its original desire to introduce ZF technology and its heavy-duty transmission has gradually drifted away. At present, the performance of dental caries in the heavy-duty transmission market is very dissatisfied with the high-level dental caries. During the interview, many bully leaders stressed to reporters that "we originally made truck transmissions." However, the current capacity for self-research and development of dental caries is not strong, and there is a lack of competitive products in the heavy truck market. The joint venture with ZF can provide opportunities for the large-scale market to enter the heavy truck market.

In addition, China National Heavy Duty Truck has just reorganized the Datong gear factory; Fast is part of Weichai Diesel Engines, and Shaanxi Automobile and other vehicle companies belong to one company; FAW, Dongfeng and other heavy truck companies also have their own transmission base. Carefully thought out, the major domestic heavy-duty transmission manufacturers, on the tooth decay is still "without relying on." In the situation where the development trend of the heavy truck industry is obvious, and the industry chain is frequently integrated, it is becoming increasingly passive.

Informed sources told reporters that when the Hunan Torch exited, China Heavy Duty Truck had wanted to buy dental caries. Because from the perspective of technology heritage, caries derived from European ZF technology are more suitable for heavy-duty cars than Nissan Chai technology, and caries have been very mature for heavy-duty trucks. In recent years, China Heavy Truck exports most of the heavy trucks equipped with geared transmissions. ZF's three arrows

The desire for joint venture cooperation is urgent, and ZF is also urgent. However, ZF’s current joint venture partner is not a family member. Both FAW and Dongfeng are the subject of negotiations. Wang Hao confirmed this to reporters.

ZF started to set up a representative office in China in 1987. At present, there are at least 18 joint ventures or wholly-owned production plants established in China, and there are also transmission factories. The problems that have plagued ZF are that heavy-duty transmissions have not been produced at a high level, and their share in the larger commercial vehicle market in China is very low. One of the major obstacles is that prices are too high. ZF is in urgent need of looking for a Chinese partner to reduce production costs and to seize more of the Chinese market.

At present, Dongfeng and FAW have exactly the need to establish or increase transmission bases. Big gear has been one of Dongfeng's most important transmission suppliers in recent years, and about 50% of the transmissions are supplied to Dongfeng. However, Big Gear has just been restructured by CNHTC, and there will be no independent large gears afterwards. Dongfeng will also rely on its rival China National Heavy Duty Truck to provide transmissions. This may be difficult. It is logical for Dongfeng to look for alternatives to big gear, and it is a good choice to establish a transmission joint venture.

FAW originally established a joint venture with Eaton of the United States, FAW Eaton Transmission Co., Ltd., but in September 2007, Eaton transferred all of its shares in the joint venture to FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., Ltd. Although FAW's transmissions can meet the needs through self-producing and purchasing, the market is changing. It is also a good idea to introduce ZF to establish a joint venture company and enrich and upgrade its supporting industrial chain.

Therefore, it is not surprising that ZF eventually signed a joint venture agreement with any one of Coutai, FAW, and Dongfeng, and it does not rule out the possibility that ZF may sign a joint venture agreement with other unknown joint venture partners. It should be said that ZF has a great deal of initiative in the joint venture with whom.
