Steerprop first signed a ship propulsion system supply contract for five platform supply vessels (PSV) with Zhejiang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Jiangsu Pacific Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd.
Under the contract, Steerprop will supply the 2000kW class "SP 25D" Azimut propeller (Propulsor) for the two PSVs built by the shipyard, and the 1685kW class "SP 20D" propeller for the three anchor supply tugs (AHTS).
In the beginning of 2015, the AHTS-specific SP 20D propulsion machine was delivered in mid-2015.
At the same time, the company received a supply order for the 1685kW “SP 20O†propeller from a PSV from Shanghai Bihao Ship Technology Co., Ltd., which is expected to be delivered in mid-2015.
